George Ray Cheatham Jr.

George Ray Cheatham Jr., 82, of Houston , Texas passed away on June 4, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Cheatham, son, Dennis Cheatham, sister, Ethel Trojanowski and brother, Richard Cheatham. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Rhonda Carol Odom, Brenda Lynnette Herbert and Tabatha Dane de la Cruz; son, Donald Williams; sister, Alice Wolz; sister in law, Francis Cheatham; brother Patrick Cheatham; grandchildren, Michael Odom, Deneah Cox, Dylan Herbert, Chase de la Cruz, Desiree Peck, Rachael Sapien and Kristen Williams; great grandchildren Brent Cox, Braden Cox, Tyler Cox, Trevor Nelson, Katie Nelson, Ashley Odom, Hunter Odom, Haley Odom and Jordan Sapien, as well as many other loving family members and countless friends. Pallbearers for Mr. Cheatham will be Michael Odom, Richard Cheatham, David Cox, James Cheatham, Chris Peck and Michael Cheatham with Richard Sengbusch and Shane Cheatham acting as honorary bearers.

Family and friends are invited to visitation in the chapel of Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Friday, the 8th of June from 5 o’clock in the afternoon until 8 o’clock in the evening.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, the 9th of June 2012 at 10 o’clock in the morning in the chapel of Calvary Hill with a graveside service taking place at Huffman Cemetery in Huffman, Texas.
