I only worked with Irma for a little over 4 years at the Houston Asylum Office.  She was an ultimate professional!.  She was a good friend; when I retired in 2016  I left behind a very important document that Irma worked diligently to track down and mail it to me.  I am forever grateful.

We talked about retirement before I left, sorry to hear that she's gone.  

To her sons, you were her pride and joy, your mother loved you guys dearly.

I worked with Irma for several years and she was always so kind and thoughtful.  My thoughts go out to her family and friends.  She will be deeply missed. 

Did not realize we shared the same birthday!!  Missing you Irma!!  

Irma's spirit was always gentle and open.  I never had the opportunity to meet in person but through email, she captured my heart.  

Irma was such a delightful person to work with. Always there to help and up lifting.  I know she will be missed by many whose lives she touched. It was a pleasure  to have worked with her.

Words cannot express the kindness of Irma’s heart or her selflessness.  There were so many conversations or laughs when sharing stories of her fur babies.  I would see her smile and feel her energy through the phone.  Always positive!  She is truly a gem and will be missed. Sleep in Peace Dear Irma. 

Your mother was a very special person. I will miss our talks about her boys, her granddaughter and her fur babies.  Her kindness of always wanting to help anyone will always be with me.  I was so blessed that I had the chance to know her. Girly, Girl you rest in pease.  

I am deeply saddened by this news. I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Irma for 20+ years. She was a treasure to work with and always had a kind word, no matter how chaotic things got. Her kindness was contagious and genuine. She made the lives of those around her a better place to be. Irma will be remembered fondly- may you rest in eternal peace. 

Yes, Irma was, indeed, a kind and thoughtful person. She was gracious, as well.  When she lived in Southlake, she invited me to attend a Julio Iglesias concert with her…I had no idea who he was!  I don’t remember the date or the venue.  But, the concert was wonderful!  As we left the concert hall, I bought his C.D., “Love Songs”.  I still have it and play it often.  It reminds me of a fun night spent with a friend…thank you, Irma!

I am so sad to hear of Irma's passing. She was such a sweet person and a true joy to work with.  Speaking with her always brightened my day.  It has been many years since we worked together, but I will never forget her and her kindness.

I have worked with Irma off and on for many years.  She was a ray of sunshine that always brightened my day when I had the pleasure of speaking with her.  My sincere condolences to her family.  I pray that your memories of her brighten your heart.  May your spirit soar and watch over us Irma. 

 I had the pleasure of knowing Irma if only for the short time we worked together. She was such a sweet and caring person who made me smile.   I will miss working with her.

I will miss Irma very much.  She worked with me since 2008.  I will miss her kindness, our talks about our children and our animals.  I will miss receiving random pictures of her dogs and what they were up to.  During many of our talks, we realized that we had lived in the many of the same areas at the same time, but our paths had never crossed.  Irma was cherished by many people who worked in our office as she was very welcoming, and always going the extra mile to help people.  My heart goes out to her family, all her friends, and her two dogs.   

Irma will be missed. Though it has been a very long time since we've spoken my kids were quick to remember how kind and sweet she was to them when we visited. Much love and prayers are being sent your way during this difficult time.
