Jakkrit Tanakit came into the world on September 21st, 1993. Most of us know him as “O”. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand. With his mom, Vilawan, and older sister, Amy; O would come to settle in Houston. He graduated from Jersey Village High School; spending all 4 years in the ROTC. He then joined the United States Marine Corp.
O was born to be a Marine. He lived the spirit of the Corp every day, “To fight through anything—with everything. With honor, with each other, and without fail.”
He might have been a man of few words. But he always knew how to make people feel safe and secure. His non-judgmental spirit and generous heart made O truly one of a kind.
Jakkrit Tanakit is predeceased by his parents, Vilawan Tanakit and Makod Meas. As well as his sister, Amy (Suphapha) King, brother in law, Matt King, and niece, Sloane King.
