James (Jim) William Wheaton, of Spring, Texas, passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospital on January 28, 2018. Funeral Services will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on Monday, February 5, 2018 at 11:00 am located at 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338 (in Spring Texas 3 blocks South of Mercer Arboretum).
Jim lived his life as a lover of fun, embarking on many travel adventures by land and by sea. His hobbies included watercolor art, Silver metalsmith, and reading. His career as a Draftsman spanned from 1971 leading him into partnering his career path with his brother building a wonderful drafting company, Wheaton Detailing Services of Spring Texas.
Jim will be missed by his family and is survived by his wife, Patrice Wheaton; his daughter, Hannah Lord; and his brothers, Andrew and Mark Wheaton. Jim is preceded in rest by his parents, his sister and his son.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Autism Society of America (www.autism-society.org) Jim’s wife wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses from Methodist Hospital, Woodlands Texas.
