James Williams, III was born in Pineville, Louisiana on August 21, 1963 to the late James Williams Jr. and mother Susie Williams. He was baptized at an early age at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Pineville under the leadership of the late Rev. P.M. Hall. He attended the Pineville ISD, elementary, middle and high schools and attended Texas Southern University of Houston, Texas for general studies. Apostle James Williams, III was raised in Pineville, Louisiana and was currently residing in Houston, Texas with his wife Belinda and their seven children. He received a born-again relationship in the year of 1984 and served at First Judea MBC under the leadership of the late Pastor C.L. Slaughter who later ordained him as an Evangelist in August 1989. He served faithfully for 10 years. God lead Apostle Williams to be founder of In Christ Ministries International in the USA. The first service was held March 11, 2001 at the Holiday Inn on JFK Blvd in the USA. Apostle Williams was installed and affirmed as a Pastor by the late Pastor Slaughter. On February 11, 2002, he brought ICM under the covering of Bishop David and Pastor Sheila Pittman who ordained and confirmed him as pastor in June 2002 the Unity Alliance. He also attended PBI (Power Bible Institute) of Houston and graduated in 2003 in the studies of Demonology. In Christ Ministries International branches in Africa, a branch in United Kingdom/London and India were formed after the original church in the USA. Apostle Williams has whole heartedly committed his time, energy and efforts to the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit endowed him with a teaching anointing and as church builder. His powerful and anointed sermons caused sinners to repent and to come to Christ and caused Christians to have power over the enemy through an awesome deliverance ministry located on the Houston area. The teaching and counsel of Apostle James Williams was embraced by countless people of God across the states and Africa. Apostle Williams was ordained as a Bishop in June 2007 and is the Presiding Bishop of the Coalition of Apostolic Churches, which was formed in July 2008. In July 2010 Bishop James Williams was affirmed by Chief Apostle David Pittman as an Apostle through the Unity Alliance Apostolic Fellowship International. Apostle James Williams continued strong in building the Kingdom of God and destroying Satan's kingdom by adding souls to God's vineyard through sound word and doctrine until God called him to his heavenly home. Preceding him in death are his father James Williams, Jr., father by marriage Nathaniel Willis, sisters Debra and Linda Williams, grandmother Sylvia Collins, and niece/daughter Tasha Williams. Apostle Williams leaves to cherish his memory, his lovely wife Belinda Williams; mother Susie Collins-Willis; four sons, Elwyn Dillard (April), Joshua Dillard (Veronica), and Leon Dillard (Oreal), Floyd Williams; three daughters Simone Castille, Debra Oliver, and Tyasia Williams all f Houston, TX. Other surviving relatives include siblings, sisters, Karen Hall and Vicki Trapp (Malcom), brothers Charlie Williams, Kenneth Williams and Roy Strong (Michelle); eight grandchildren L'Oreal, Micaiah, Destiny, Alyssia, EJ, Amarti, Asher and Aniya. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
