The first time we played soccer together I didn't think much of you. But after I was impressed on the vision and patience you had with the ball. Also the first time we played against each other, we played at La Escondida soccer park. You played for a team with the Cruz Azul jerseys and I played with Roc Boyz FC. We beat ya and after the game I remember you told me something along the lines of, "I ain't playing again with this wack ass team." 🤣. Also I remember hanging out at Mejia's apt for Monday Night Football, he told me a few people were gonna be over to watch and participate in our football squares. You (Javi) showed up, that was a cool little feeling in having a soccer buddy show up. I didn't know you (Javi) knew Mejia, small little world. Football, beer and money brought us together. Also I remember my car battery dying at Riverpark at night and you (Javi) gave me a ride to O'Reilly auto parts around the corner. It was to late, O'Reilly was closed and tried to convince the store worker to open, we were drunk lmao. We failed but your good heart and caring attitude towards your soccer buddies is what stuck with me the most. I will miss you and the times we were around each other. Rest in Paradise Javi, I will miss you.

The latest memory I have of you is playing poker with you and the 4th N drunk fantasy football crew, and you teaching me the type of hands I had. We went at it that night I beat you in a couple of hands, but you beat me on one of the last big hands. That there is a bit of what type of person you where always trying to help a friend out. I also remember like 9 months ago I worked out with you and you worked me out so bad I didn’t go back to the gym till a couple of weeks ago. You laughed at me when I told you it was my first time back since that work out. That was the last time we spoke. Love you brother I’m getting back in soccer shape, and I promise you Il dedicate some goals to you. RIP Javi

I remember you use to drain me out in the gym. I wish I had more moments with you. I’ll see you in the spirit world my boy.

I think we all knew what kind of a man Javier was. He was a stand up guy. One love Xavi!
