Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Wilkerson; son, Michael Hobgood; and brothers, Baby Sims and Jay Eagan Sr. Left to cherish her loving memory, sister-in-law, Sue Eagan; nephews, Jay Eagan and wife Christian, Kenny Eagan and Kellie Nichols, nieces, Melissa Frey and husband Kevin, Michele Smith and husband Brad and seven great nephews and nieces, Cody, Kennedy, Isaac, Evan, McKinley, Zachary and Austin; extended family The Cerrillo Family, Papa, Jose and wife Jackie, Juan, Omar and wife Brenda, Omar Jr., Jocelyn and Emiliano.

Jean had a gentle spirit. She was so kind and loving and always put others' needs above her own. She enjoyed feeding her birds and spending time with family and friends. Jean was a delightful person to be around. She loved her Jesus and would often say she would not know where she would be without HIM and he truly was her Savior. She loved to read but mostly the Bible. Her favorite scripture was Psalms 118:28. You are my God, I will praise you! You are my God, and I will exalt you!
