He was born on May 5, 1954 in Westhoff, TX to parents Timoteo and Christina (Rosales) Tristan, they preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his daughter Sandra Tristan.
Johnny is survived by his wife of fifteen years, Peggy Tristan, his sister, Guadalupe (Lupe) Regalado, his brothers, Isidro Tristan and his wife Theresa, Adam (Duck) Tristan and his wife Caroline and Guadalupe (Sunny) Tristan. He is also survived by his step children, Brandi Albertson and her husband Kristopher, Chad Lewis and his wife Samantha, Krystal Terry and her husband Rusty, Justen Thompson and his wife Stormi, eight grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Johnny's greatest passion was fishing, he also enjoyed playing pool, he played on pool leagues for L&H Bar where he won grand championships, individual grand championship trophies and numerous plaques. He also belonged to dart leagues and won grand championships and jackets on those leagues. In his spare time Johnny was always willing to go play slot machines at the casinos.
A visitation for Johnny will be held Saturday, February 18, 2023 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX. A rosary service will begin at 7:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A committal service will take place after the funeral service at Calvary Hill Cemetery, followed by a reception inside the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers are Isidro Tristan, Isidro Tristan Jr., Joe DeLeon, Rusty Siegers, Kristopher Albertson, Justen Thompson, Chad Lewis and Jase Skero.
