Today would have been Berry’s 74th Birthday had he lived. We are Remembering Him on the Anniversary of his birth. If Heaven had birthdays, this would be our birthday wish. We know that as believers to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We will see him again. 🌹Gwen

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been 7 years since you transitioned to be with the Lord.  We honor the memory of your Life, Love and Legacy today and everyday thru our adult children and grands. Thinking of my HBFF ~ It's been 1 year and 8 months ago....We are still missing you! G

A year and 5 months have passed since my HBFF (Husband Best Friend Forever)went to be with the Lord. Missing him and our lives together G, I know we have so many wonderful memories over so many loving years together. Each time I look at our adult children and grands I see him looking back at me. God's Grace is Sufficient for this journey of Life without him. I focus on the Life and Legacy and not the Loss. As a believer like he was, I will according to Romans 10:9-10 see him again. God is my Peace! G

Update from Gwen: It has been 4 months since my HBFF (Husband Best Friend Forever) went to be with the Lord. He is dearly missed by us all. As we journey through our first Easter, what would have been our 30th Wedding Anniversary, our birthdays, Father's Day, Mother's Day surprises, holidays and Thanksgiving without him, we partake of more of God's Grace to make it through. Missing my HBFF, it is his Life, Love and Legacy that we focus on not the loss. Blessings, G

Dear Gwen, Because of the auto accident, I arrived late to the Going Home Ceremony for your beloved husband.  Yes, I know he was loved.  One gentleman was so filled with respect for your husband, he wanted to eulogize him outside...his words weren't rehearsed, but from his heart...this wasn't before an audience, but to a stranger. Mrs. Berry, sorry to hear of your loss... I worked with and knew Layfayette for some time during his employment at S&S, he was a good friend and a nice person to know.
