Loretta Bernadette Delaney, age 81 of Katy, Texas passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. She was the mother of Barry James Curtis, Deborah Delaney Orillion, Jack Michael Delaney Jr (wife Marissa Delaney), Grandmother to multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Amidas Dufrene and Mildred Brunet Dufrene. She was an accountant for the US Department of Agriculture until her retirement. Early in life her hobbies were running marathons and competitive dancing. Her strong faith in God lead her to help others in her community by introducing them to Christ. She loved children and was know by all as "Grammy".
A visitation for Loretta will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A celebration of life service will occur Monday, March 27, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A committal service will occur Monday, March 27, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
