Lydia was born in Houston, Texas, to Carlos and Rose Ruiz. She became the youngest sister to Elsa and Isa Ruiz.
She graduated from Spring High School in 1982, then went on to study Information Technology courses in college. She would later apply her education in her last job at Lone Star College.
She loved her family, and particularly doted on all her nieces and nephews. Lydia loved to travel, and watch all the latest movies.
Lydia was loved by her family and will be terribly missed by all. She was preceded in rest by her father, Carlos Ruiz, and her sister Isa Ruiz. She is survived by her mother Rose Ruiz, sister Elsa Ruiz, her nieces, nephews, a great-niece, a great-nephew, numerous other relatives and a host of loving friends.
