Marcos "Mark" Antonio Arreola, known affectionately as Taco, passed away suddenly on July 13, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 63. Born on June 29, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, Marcos was a lifelong enthusiast of comics, movies, music, gaming, and he took pleasure in working on his truck.
Mark graduated from Sam Houston High School, and later worked over 20 years at HP ("the company formerly known as Compaq"), where he formed lifelong friendships. Known for his contagious laugh and magnetic presence, he was someone who deeply loved his friends and family.
He is survived by his brother, Steve and his wife Michelle; his sisters Arlene (MacGregor) and Yvette (Berg) and her husband John; his nephews Colin, Finley, John IV, and Justin and his wife Tori; his niece Lauren; and grandniece Esme. Marcos was preceded in death by his parents, Delfino and Nery Arreola.
Marcos's joyful spirit and sense of humor will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of life for Mark will be held Friday, July 26, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. Following the celebration of life will be a committal service from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
