Marjorie Aline White

Marjorie Aline White was born on November 22, 1939, in Lubbock, Texas, and went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 27, 2013, in El Dorado, Arkansas, where she and her husband, John, have resided since 2008. Marjorie worked as a nurse in the Houston area, from which she retired. She attended Jubilee Church of God, where she became an ordained minister of the Gospel and ministered to many people through the years. Above and beyond anything else, she loved and served the Lord.

Marjorie is survived by her husband John White and five children. Her Children are: Vernoma Rives, Donna Farish-Coker (Clif), Kimberley Bretting (Gordon), Michael White and Mark White. Her Grandchildren - Rickey Rives, Jr., Shelley Rives, Monica Fisher (Patrick), Hayleigh Farish, Jacob Bretting, Brittany Bretting, Danielle Farish, Ethan Farish, five great grandchildren, sisters - Marla Burton and Jo Ann Benson (Chuck), and brother Ernest Garland. Honorary family members - Rick Rives, Sr., and Daniel Farish

A visitation will be held on Thursday October 31, 2013 from 11:00a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and the funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd. Humble TX 77338. Interment will be at 2:30p.m. on Thursday October 31, 2013 at the Houston National Cemetery 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038.
