from 12 pm to 4 pm in the Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery
@ 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd Humble, TX 77338 for Martha Ruth Suter,
who passed away suddenly at home on January 2nd, 2019.
Martha was born & raised in Houston, Texas. She spent the last 21 years
working for Brown Sims law firm, where she shared a heavenly view of the
Galleria and downtown skyline.
Martha was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured
her children and embraced every moment with them. She had a
vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh,
making friends everywhere she went.
Martha was extremely passionate and loving woman who loved to garden
and had an amazing green thumb to anything she touched. She was a
devoted animal advocate, believing all animals deserved to have a great
and better life. If you ever had a need for anything, best assured Martha
had it to give and share. She loved her garden wind chimes, like she loved
her flower gardens and butterflies.
Martha had a love of books and reading, and when she finished a book,
she was eager to share and pass it along or trade. She loved her colorful
sticky notes, like she loved her ice cream late night snack. She wasn’t
much for sports, but did she love to shop!
Martha was surrounded by many that loved her and is survived by;
her mother, Adelee Osburn; her daughter Rachel Suter, wife Melissa Huff
and their son David Huff; her son Jason Suter, his wife Katrina Suter and
their 3 sons, Zachary Suter, Lucas Suter and Wesley Suter and her siblings,
Jan Henson and Tony Daspit.
Martha was most comfortable in her black stretchy pants and a loose
blouse. Please honor her by wearing red as it seems to be one of her
favorite colors to wear.
Some of Martha’s favorite things in life were rescuing animals, gardening,
and reading, so in lieu flowers the family requests that donations be made
toa local charity in her honor, like a local arboretum, library or
local animal shelter.
