So sad to lose a beautiful Grandmother. Mary Alice loved her grands and great grands so much. She will be missed greatly.
I want to thank her so much for loving my youngest son so much and taking a special interest in him. Johnie Trey Wilson. He loved his adopted by heart Grandma Gutierrez.

My sweet Grandma where do I even begin…

Thank you for all the special memories you have created throughout the years. You were always your authentic self, between your contagious laugh and silly sense of humor it was always so much fun to be around you. You always had a smile on your face and were so full of love, you just simply had an amazingly graceful presence about you. 

Every time we were together you would say goodbye with “love you” which always made me feel so special and loved. You created a home for us all and every time I entered your house there was a sense of comfort and warmth. Whether it was giving us cookies out of your hidden cookie jar as kids or making sure there was always a seat for our significant others as adults, you always wanted us to feel at home. Never was this more true than when you decorated your house for Christmas, you and Grandpa always went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a special holiday. Easter was also big for you too, you loved our family confetti egg fights. I will never forget the year you got me on the head with a flour filled egg, you thought it was the funniest thing. 

I’m so glad my girls were able to get to know you, as Kennedy calls you silly great-grandma with the “red hair”. She was always so excited to visit you because you made it so fun for her. You made her feel so special with the little gifts you would randomly give her and running around chasing her just to get her to laugh. I will definitely miss sending you weekly pictures of them as they grow up but know you are watching over them in heaven.

I know Grandpa saved you a spot in heaven and is happy to have you with him to watch over our big family. I am so happy you are united with him and know you both are now our guardian angels. I am going to miss you so much and will never forget you, it is truly an honor to be your granddaughter.

Grandma, 

I am going to miss everything about you. I have so many great memories of you that will always bring a smile to my face.

Here are just a few memories that come to mind: 
Growing up you always made sure to have our favorite snacks when we would go visit (cookies, Fritos, Debbie snacks and popsicles) countless garage sales, your delicious Mexican rice that no one could ever make taste just as good as yours, playing loteria and your house during Christmas. You always went all out with decorating your house inside & out and it always looked so beautiful! Also every time we said goodbye…you always made sure to tell me you love me! That always made me feel so special & loved! 

There are so many more memories that I have and will always carry those with me forever. I will miss you so much but it makes me happy knowing you are not alone. I know you and grandpa are watching over all of us.

Grandma, 

I can’t believe that you are gone. I am going to miss everything about you, but most of all, I am going to miss hearing your voice and seeing your face.
Thank you so much for your love and everything that you have ever done for me. 

It helped ease the sadness of your death to know that Grandpa was waiting for you on the other side. Finally you were reunited with him and finally you are home. 

You were always so brave and courageous, smart, beautiful and funny and I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful memories that I will treasure in my heart. I will be forever grateful and thankful that you are my grandma. 

Please send some love and comfort down to all of us, especially during the next few weeks, Grandma. I love you and I will miss you everyday.
