Mary Anne Black

Mary had a love for playing the piano and organ. She was a very outgoing and out spoken person who never met a stranger. She married Claude Oliver (C.O.) Black on August 10, 1952 in Carthage, TX.

Mary was married to the love of her life for 50 years, raised wonderful children who gave her grandchildren that she adored and great grand children that kept her going up until her last days. Family was her life.

She was preceded in rest by her parents; and the love of her life, C.O. Black; siblings, Charles Hendricks, Al Davis, Elizabeth Davis Escoe, Jimmy Hendricks and Robert Davis.

Mary is survived by her children, James C. Black and his wife Elizabeth (Sissy), Steven W. Black, Pamela Anne Black Mendez and her husband Richard; her brother, Eli Davis and his wife, Vonelle; her grandchildren, Stephanie Black Montalbano and her husband Michael; Ashley Bentz Lemke and her husband Ryan, Nathan Black, Natalie Black Gommel and her husband Matt, Addie Bentz Stephenson and her husband Blake, Angela Black Meadows and her husband Daniel, Megan Black Royster and her husband Jeremy; her great grandchildren, Annabelle Gommel, Gage Gommel. Aubrey Meadows, Connor Stephenson, Sawyer Lemke, Brady Meadows, Ivy Gommel, Brett Meadows, and Grady Lemke; her nieces, Sandra Griffin, Dana Griffin Clark, Kacie Tullis White and Lacie Tullis LaGrone, along with other relatives and friends who will treasure her memory forever.
