Well I just wanted to tell you that has time gone by, you are still greatly missed. I love you very much & you were my dearest friend. I know you are rejoicing in heaven, being with your other loved ones already there. Elaine misses you terribly & so does all the family. I'll be seeing you someday. Love, Wanda

Hey PePa, I know you were looking down on us today. It was a beautiful celebration of your life. I look back on all the years and there are so many memories that make me  smile. I will miss you dearly and wish I could have just one more conversation with you. So since I can't I'll tell  you in person I'll tell you  right here, YOU are my grandfather always have been and always will be.. I wish I had more time but it's just selfish of me to want that. So I'll see you soon. Watch over my babies and keep them safe.  I love you PePa until we meet again!

Norman was the little brother to my Dad, Robert, Jr.  He knew me even before I was born back in 1951.  I remember as a child going over to Nadine Street and celebrating Birthdays, Thanksgivings, and Christmas every year.  Their Christmas trees were always magical and they always had the best cakes and ice cream.  All the relatives would be there.  Bettie and I would always play with the paper dolls, watch the canaries in the cages, and pick out the cashews from the nuts.  What memories we had with him and our Grandparents.
After Grandpa and Grandma died, Norman met and married Elaine.  Elaine brought sunshine back into his life.  He became a whole new person in love with her and with life.  I remember my parents were so over joyed for Norman.
I cherish my loving memories of my Uncle.  I know he was loved by many and he will be missed.  I do feel joyful, though, knowing he is with the Lord. 
Elaine, his funeral service was beautiful.  Thank you for coming into his life.

Bro. Norman was such a kind and giving man. As a member of Spring Forest Baptist Church I have fond memories of his giving and doings there. I was only nine years old when I sang my first special at church. He built me a small box so that I could stand on and sing behind the pulpit to be seen by everyone. With the recent loss of other church members like John Joiner and Ray and Rachel Zulaica, I know that was a joyous reunion. God bless your family during this difficult loss.

Norman was my Daddy's brother.  Many of the pictures portrayed on his memorial page has Norman with his big brother, “Roddy” (Norman's nickname for my Dad, Robert H. Anderson, Jr.).  Throughout our early years Norman was our “Uncle Norman” whom we visited on birthdays, spend every childhood Christmas and enjoyed many evenings of ice floats with Norman and our Grandparents.
Right after he married, he told me, “If he had known how wonderful it was to be married, he would have married sooner.”  He certainly loved his lovely wife.  I know the best person to come into Norman's life was, Elaine.  She gave him love and a family, whom embraced him as a husband, father and grandfather.  
 Even though, in our latter years Larry, Sheryl and I saw Norman infrequently, I still have very fond childhood memories of my “Uncle Norman”.

Norman was one of the most caring, polite men that I have known. He always was interested in what you were doing and had great manners. He was a tough fighter and carried his illness with courage. Rest in peace, Norman. Your family will take strength in your faith and courage. God Bless You.

Dear Bro.Norman, My heart is broken losing such a great friend, but rejoicing knowing you're with the Lord. You have left behind many wonderful memories, & I will always cherish the good times we all had together. I will miss you but someday I will see you again. I know Byron & Richard are happy you're with them. I will always love you my sweet, dear friend!
