

Patricia Jeaneal Aronson, 84, of Spring, Texas, passed away on June 17, 2026, in Conroe, Texas. Born May 28, 1942, in Seguin, Texas, Patricia was the daughter of Dewey and Nina Steffens. Throughout her life, she was deeply cherished by those who knew her, and she will be remembered with enduring affection and gratitude.
Patricia built a steady and dedicated working life. She was a word processor for USAA until she and her family moved to Houston in 1979, where she worked for many years and later retired from Jackson and Walker in 2014. In every season of her life, Patricia’s kind heart and thoughtful presence left a lasting impression—quietly, faithfully, and with a warmth that made others feel valued.
On October 11, 1973, Patricia married Samuel Aronson in San Antonio, Texas. Their life together was marked by devotion and love, and Samuel preceded her in death. Patricia was also preceded in death by her parents, Dewey (Opal Steffens) and Nina Steffens,her son Christopher Aronson and her daughter in law Teresa Chatfield.
Patricia is survived by her daughter, Theresa Watts and husband Russell Watts; her sons, Mike Aronson and partner Chad Hagel, David Chatfield, John Chatfield, Kevin Riggs, and Joseph Aronson and wife Misty Long; her sisters, Wanda Allen, Brenda Thompson and husband Neil Thompson; her grandchildren David Dexter Chatfield and wife Hanna and their daughter Kamber, Tomisha Margaret Elizabeth Aronson, Josh George, Christian Watts, Cody Watts, Russell Long with Tyler and Liliana, LeeAndrew Mull, Jordan Dodel and her three children; her nieces and nephews, Michael Wade Allen, Dawn Leader and husband Michael Leader and their children. She was a beloved and cherished presence within her family, and her love will continue to be felt through the lives she helped shape.
Those closest to Patricia will remember the simple joys that reflected her gentle spirit: decorating cakes and cookies, spending time with her grandchildren, scrapbooking, tending to her roses, and taking pictures. In these everyday gifts of time and care, she expressed a love that was steady, generous, and true.
Visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, on June 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Spring Baptist Church, 633 E Louetta Rd, Spring, TX 77373, on June 23, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, on June 23, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:30 am.
