Patricia Ann Lester

Patricia Ann Lester, beloved by all who knew her, passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on May 3, 1938, in Houston, Texas, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Clifton and Mattie Baber.

Patricia dedicated her career to serving the community. She worked for five years as a jailor and dispatcher for the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and spent 36 years as a bookkeeper for DDI Machine. Her commitment and dedication were evident throughout her professional life.

In February 1970, Patricia married Howard Lester in Houston, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, LeAnn Philips and Steve Phillips, Patricia and Daniel Clark, Denise Tolly; her sons, Terry and Rachel Wilson, Larry Wilson, Wesley Lester, Mitchell Lester, Mark and David Peters; and her brother, Chapman (Boosie) Baber. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 33 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lester, her parents, Clifton and Mattie Baber, her children, Jimmy, Mark, and Linda; her brother, Bill; and her sisters, Francis, Bonnie, and Sue.

Patricia's personal interests were as vibrant as her personality. She found joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was an ardent fan of the Astros. Her love for the Lord was a guiding force in her life. An artist at heart, she loved singing and painting. In her younger years, Patricia was an avid softball player and even took the time to give her grandchildren pitching lessons.

A visitation will be held on July 26, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, Texas. A Celebration of Life will follow from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with the Committal Service taking place from 11:00 am to 11:30 am at the same location.

Patricia Ann Lester will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her love, warmth, and cherished memories will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
