He graduated from Frankston High School in Frankston Texas in 1968
He worked as a Telephone Engineer for the majority of his life. He also owned multiple businesses including a paving/striping company, a liquor store, and a video store. After retirement he worked for his son helping him establish his Air Conditioning company.
He was actively involved in Freemasonry. He was a member of Spring Masonic Lodge #1174, Arabia Shrine, York Rite and Scottish Rite Fraternities.
He was preceded in death by his Mother (Catherine Phillips), Father (Robert E. Phillips, Sr.) & Sister (Sandra Perkins)
He is survived by his wife (Sheila Phillips), sons (Brandy & Brian Phillips) (daughter in law Cathy Phillips) and grandsons (Hunter, Harley & Stone Phillips & Blake & Zach Breneman)
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Calvary Hill Funeral Home on February 26, 2022 at 12 pm. Visitation with the family will begin at 11 am. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Funeral Home.
