

Steven Christopher Marks was Born in Houston, Texas on May 30, 1967, to loving parents Joseph and Carol Marks. He passed away in Houston Texas, at the age of 58. He graduated from Spring Senior High School, then went on to proudly serve his country with honor and dedication in the United States Marine Corps. His service reflected the courage, strength, and loyalty that defined his character throughout his life.
Following his military service, Steven built a remarkable 28-year career serving the United States Postal Service, where he became not just a postal worker but a friend and familiar face in the community in which he served. He was a jokester, a fun guy, and known for sharing encouraging words in the community, and had a special bond with the neighborhood pets, often carrying treats to greet the dogs who awaited him daily.
Steven was also well known for his talent on the pool table at Bogies Billiards. He held his own amongst the best. His competitive spirit and sense of fun shined brightly wherever he went.
Above all, he lived a life that touched others, which will never go away. He became closer to God in his final days and he lived his life to the fullest.
Steven is preceded in death by his loving parents, Joseph and Carol, and his brother Ken. He is survived by his devoted niece Nikole, his sister-in-law LaTundia, his aunt Debbie, and a host of cherished family and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts forever.
A visitation will be held at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338, on November 1, 2025, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A repass will be held at the same venue from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Stevens final resting place will be at Houston National Cemetery.
