

Talmon Wesley (“Weso”) Hardin Jr., age 28, of Houston, TX, passed away on, Wednesday, April 2, 2014 of a heart attack at the home of his beloved nana Julia Goldsmith. He was born March 6, 1986 in Peoria, IL, the son of Talmon W. Hardin Sr. and Amy E. (Goldsmith) Hardin. He enjoyed listening to music, watching motocross and Nascar, working on cars (especially Honda’s), while not formally trained he had a God gifted talent of fixing anything mechanical; he enjoyed spending time with his family, simply adored his nieces/nephews and spending time with them and often considered them to be his own. He also cherished spending time with his friends, just hanging out or having a beer. Wesley had a beautiful, fun loving soul and never thought of anyone as a stranger but as a friend. He was someone that was dearly loved by everyone who truly knew him and he will be missed by us all. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Lela Smith. He is survived by his parents Amy Goldsmith-Hardin and Talmon Hardin Sr. & Janet Johnson-Hardin; sisters, Ashley Hardin-Palmer, Alyssia Hardin, Arianna Hardin, Britney and Briana Johnson, Christina Greer; brother, Jacob Hardin; Grandparents Walter and Ora Hardin and Julia Goldsmith; aunts, Marcia Chance, Aleen Hardin, Janice Lowery; uncles, Darin Chance and Walter Hardin Jr., cousin, Alec Chance; nieces, Phoenix and Ava Palmer; nephews, Alex and Connor Palmer; and as he put it the love of his life, Taylor McLaurin. Also surviving are numerous cousins, extended family and cherished friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 7, 2014 from 5pm to 9pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 3pm to 4pm. Everyone that knew and loved him are encouraged to attend to celebrate in his life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
