I am very fortunate that I had Tamia in my life for 34 years. During life’s ups and downs, she was very generous in love. She was a talented artist and a strong person. Tamia is in a better place now and heaven has a new angel.

Despite many years gone by and distant miles separating, you're always going to remain close to your sibling. The person you shared your childhood with, the person you grew into adulthood with, that other person in the special bond of family. You share that important and unique story, as each family has its own, its joys and sorrows, secrets and dramas, its times times and places, that story is yours and your sibling's, alone. In some ways that makes the loss of a sibling very private and personal and special in its loss. My sister was an incredibly strong person. She really was an inspiration to me. I talked to her last on the phone a month ago and she could still laugh at life's ironies. I envied her feisty spirit. I am deeply saddened.
