Terry will be remembered as a beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her—steady in faith, generous in compassion, and sincere in the care she extended to family and friends. Her devotion was evident not only in the way she loved others, but also in the quiet strength of her worship and the grace with which she lived.
On July 17, 2017, Terry married Gerber Lopez in Houston. Together they shared a life grounded in commitment and companionship, enriched by the simple joys she cherished. Terry found happiness in crafting, camping, and cooking, and she especially treasured time spent worshipping Jesus.
Terry is survived by her husband, Gerber Lopez; her sons, Chris Lopez and his spouse, Samantha Lopez, of Houston; her sisters, Delores Garza and Erica Desoto; her brothers, Ricky Desoto and Jon Desoto and his spouse, Blanca Desoto; and her grandchild, Yanis Lopez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carmen Acuña Desoto and Johnny Desoto.
