Dr. Tommye White Holliday born 10/27/1951 in Lamont, MS to the late Ernest J. White and the late Lessie B. White. Tommye passed away on November 21, 2017, peacefully after a long battle with Lung disease.
Dr. Holliday, became an Ordained Minister in 2001 as well as serving our country as a Captain in the US Army Reserves. In addition, as a Nurse Practitioner she dedicated her life to the care of others, especially the elderly.
She was blessed with four children; Bennie Jr., Jacquelyn, Tiffini and Shanna. She encouraged them to love God, to obey , to love and respect others, and to remember to never judge another lest ye be judged as well as to always remember to show compassion and love according to the word of God. Her words and deeds are a true reflection of her love for the lord. She has touched many lives and all who have met her will tell you that she embraced you as a child of God and never as a stranger.
Dr. Holliday, leaves behind her beloved sister, Dorothy White and her four children, Bennie L. Holliday, Jr., Dr. Jacquelyn J. McNeal, Tiffini Holliday-Halley and Shanna Holliday-Valentine as well as 12 Grandchildren: Rashida, Devin, Jamilah, D’Andre, Alle’jeandria, Rudolph, Amaria, Ajane, Khalil, Keira, and Desmond as well as one Great-grand; Mik’kiyah and a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends.
