William Harold Gould

William Harold Gould, 78, of Spring, Texas entered into rest on November 30, 2020. He was born on August 10, 1942 in Attleboro, Massachusetts to parents Harold and Mabelle Gould. On December 30, 1967, William married the love of his life Eva Sue Guenther, and they devoted their lives to raising a beautiful family.

William was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and through his service discovered a love of travelling. He lived in Tampa FL, Nashua NH, Ft Knox KY, Germany, Ft Belvoir VA, Spring TX, Anchorage AK, and finally settled down in Spring once more. William had a keen mind - he could make a joke out of anything - and loved doing crossword puzzles to stay sharp. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching hockey and other sports. He was also a faithful member of the Greenwood Village Baptist Church and loved his church family. William's greatest achievement and source of pride in life were his children and family.

William is survived by his wife Eva Gould; children Karen Jones and husband Greg of Spring TX, Tammy DeLuke and Joe of Cypress TX, Cathy DeRoche and Paul of Anchorage AK; grandchildren Justin Kirby, Joseph Kirby, Jacob Kirby, Lorena Huerta, Henry Jones, Crystina Huerta, Nathan Jones & Jennifer DeRoche; great grandchildren Landon Kirby, Bryson Andrews, Kryss Williams, and Jayce Kirby; sister Beth Estes of Huntsville TX; and his beloved dog Bailey. He was preceded in passing by his granddaughter-in-law Stephanie Kirby, and parents Harold and Mabelle Gould.

A visitation will be held in William's honor on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. til 7:00 p.m. at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, Texas 77338. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday December 5, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Greenwood Village Baptist Church, 20300 Cypresswood Drive, Humble, Texas 77338 with a reception to follow immediately after. William will be laid to rest with honors during a private ceremony at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038.
