Abrehet Worede, age 52, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024, at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born on October 1, 1971, in Dekemhare, Eritrea, Abrehet was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, aunt, cherished friend, and respected member of the community.

Abrehet is survived by her father, Worede A. Tesfau, her mother, Zaid Gebremeskel, and her brothers Isaac, Bisarat, Ephraim, and Merhawy Worede.

A graduate of the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Sciences, Abrehet dedicated her career to the fashion industry, excelling as a garment, textile, and technical design specialist. She was known for her innovative designs, tireless work ethic, and her unwavering commitment to mentoring young designers. Her colleagues admired her for her creativity, professionalism, and her efforts in promoting sustainable fashion practices.

Beyond her professional life, Abrehet was a true entrepreneur and an advocate for healthy living. She was a passionate YouTube videographer, sharing her love for fashion, outdoor activities, and health-conscious living with her many followers. Through her videos, she inspired countless individuals to embrace a healthy and balanced lifestyle. Abrehet also devoted her time to teaching, often taking time from her busy schedule to share her knowledge and inspire others.

Abrehet's zest for life was evident in her numerous hobbies and interests. She loved exploring new fashion trends, engaging in outdoor adventures, and helping others achieve their wellness goals. Her vibrant personality and generous spirit brought joy and inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Abrehet Worede will be deeply missed but will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a one-hour Visitation on Saturday, June 1st, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, from 10:00am - 11:00am, with a service to follow.
