

Albert was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. He served in the Navy during WWII and was proud of his service to his country.
He worked for the Budd Company in Philadelphia as a mechanic, working on heavy machinery, until his retirement in 1984.
Albert’s true passion was art. He was a painter and lover of music. He was proud of his German heritage and enjoyed listening to German Folk music and Country. In his earlier years, he was an avid fisherman and loved the sea. He was a member of the Cannstatter’s in Philadelphia for 44 years. Every year, Albert faithfully helped to raise the Fruit Column in the Labor Day Festival.
Albert was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Marie Wunderler in 1994. He is survived by his three daughters and sons-in-law, Catherine and John Schmidt of Highland, MI, Julia and Dr. Elliott Brownstein of Wyncote, and Marie and Thomas Duffield of Philadelphia, his seven grandchildren, Lauren (Jon) Krigel, Kirsten Brownstein, Erich Schmidt, Justin Brownstein, Karl Schmidt, Julia Duffield and Christian Duffield, and his two great-granddaughters Lillian and Abigail Krigel.
Friends and relatives are invited to a viewing on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 9:30am-11:30am at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, with services following at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley.
