

Alexey Lukyanov was born on September 30th, 1956 in Vladimir city in Russia (г. Владимир в России). Since his early childhood his artistic talent was reviled. He spent his best childhood summers in the city Larevo in Moscow (Ларёво под Москвой). His father Victor Lukyanov was a Soviet Army officer and his mother Marina Lukyanova was a nutritionist. His early childhood he spent in Vladimir city, later his father was transferred to city Kiev, Ukraine to serve. They lived together with his mother’s family for several years and he went to his 1st Grade in 1963. Later they moved to their own home and lived there since 1967. He started going to another school #163 (Средняя Школа #163 им. М.П. Кирпоноса). He was very artistic, and he went to the Palace of Pioneers art studio (Центральный Дворец Пионеров) to study art. In 1971 he transferred from high school to the Art Institute in Kiev (Киевский Художественно-Промышленный Техникум).
He graduated from college as an honor student in 1975 and started to work in the Movie Studio of Dovzhenko (Киностудия им. А. П. Довженко). He worked in the movies including “Rozhdennaya Revolutsiei” (Рождённaя Революцией), “Vavilon XX” (Вавилон XX), and many others. When Perestroyka (Перестройка) begun the movie Studio went financially unstable, and he started working on the “Crystal” Plant (Завод Кристалл) as an Art Graphic Decorator.
In 1981 he got married to the most beautiful and amazing woman in the world whose name is Olga. She used to be an elementary school teacher while they lived in Kiev, Ukraine. On September 27th, 1982 they had a daughter Maria and later on July 24th, 1986 they had a son Victor.
After Soviet Union collapsed their family decided to move to the United States of America. Alexey was invited by his friend Filex in Philadelphia and Alexey arrived to America on March 22nd, 1993. In two years he was blessed by winning a Green Card to stay and live in the United States. In 1995 his kids and wife came to join him.
He continued his professional career as an artist. He worked very hard, and found his niche as a Muralist. He became to be known as an extremely talented Muralist. Many people have his talented and beautiful touch of art in their homes and looking at them everyday saying thank you for his unbelievable talent. A lot of people are blessed with his art works including Kids’ Rooms, Marbleizing, Sky Ceilings, and beautiful Murals.
In the peak of his career he had a sudden end of his life. It happened on March 26th, 2010. Many people knew him as a kind, passionate, lovable person with greatest sense of humor. His family will always love and remember him for the greatest person that he was.
