Antonio Manuel "Tony " Filipe, resident of Holland, Pa., and
born in Sao Martinho do Porto, Portugal, died on Nov. 12, 2013 after an
extended battle with diabetes.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Geraldine; her son, Benjamin
Camel (Kim); and their daughter, Eva; and was preceded in death by her
son, Brent Mann. Tony was the loving father of Elizabeth Filipe (Art
Friedman), the late Michael Anthony Filipe, and grandchildren, Matthew
and Jessica Friedman. Tony was the brother of Jose and Robert Filipe,
and the late Sandino Rodrigues.
He was the founder and president of Sunrise Concrete.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing from 6 to 8
p.m. on Thursday, November 14, at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry
Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pa. 19006, and may call on the family from
12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Albert the Great Church, 214 Welsh Road,
Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. His Funeral Mass will follow at 1 p.m.
Entombment in Forest Hills Cemetery.
