Bertha was born on May 20, 1945, in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Charles and Cecelia (Ardiff) Faust. She graduated from Bartram High School in 1963. Bertha went on to establish a career as a Food Service Worker, working for the School District of Philadelphia for 30 years.
Bertha loved nature and gardening and could spend hours relaxing in her backyard. She was an animal lover who would often donate to shelters and spoiled her own pets with lots of treats, toys and affection. She enjoyed an evening playing bingo, or just catching up over a good meal. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Robert.
Bertha is survived by her children Robert, Christopher, and Melissa, her grandchildren, Monica, Matthew and Madelyn, her great-grandchildren Daniel and Gabriel, her sister Susanne, her brother-in-law, Frank and her dog, Tigger.
Family and friends are invited to attend a one-hour Visitation on Friday, August 9, at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, from 10:00am – 11:00am, with a Service to follow. Burial will take place at Forest Hills Cemetery, 12:30pm.
