Carmine Bocchinfuso Jr.

Carmine was born on April 15, 1938 in Philadelphia, to parents, Carmine Bocchinfuso Sr. and Alice Bocchinfuso (nee Carmen). He went on to establish a career as a dye pressman, working for McLean’s Packing Company for over 30 years.

In his free time, Carmine enjoyed woodworking, camping, and cheering on the Phillies and the Eagles. He was also a leading member of the Boy Scout Troop and Post #108 for many years. Carmine was also a founder of Cub Scout Pack #634. He was known to many as a Mountain Man, always indulging in nature. He enjoyed working with his hands and always created projects around the house.

Carmine was preceded in death by his son Thomas Bocchinfuso, his grandson Thomas Bocchinfuso Jr., his parents, his brother Robert, and his sister Theresa.

Carmine is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Sandra Bocchinfuso; children: Lynn Genetti (Larry), James Bocchinfuso (Christy), Anthony Bocchinfuso (Nicole), Edward Bocchinfuso (Lisa); grandchildren: Dennis (Donna), Christina (Todd), Jessica (Jeremy), Michele, Stacey (Phellan), Oliver, Nelson, Evie, Hunter, Eric, Lauren (Parker), Joseph (Amanda), Martinique, and Devin; 10 great grandchildren; siblings: Richard Bocchinfuso (Dolores), Joseph Bocchinfuso, Jack Bocchinfuso (Rita), Linda Osgood (Jeremy).

A viewing for Carmine will be held Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006. Followed by a funeral service at 12:30. An entombment will occur Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
