Clare E. Hagenlocher Hackbart

Clare E. Hackbart died on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. She was 85 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Claire Hagenlocher. Clare was a Bensalem resident for the past year. She had previously lived in Leighton for 39 years. Before moving to Leighton she had been a longtime resident of the Parkwood section of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Hackbart was a homemaker. When she lived in Philadelphia she was an active member of St. Anselm’s Parish. Clare enjoyed country western line dancing and was active in the Senior Olympics in Leighton.

Clare was the beloved wife of Harold Hackbart for 58 years before his death in 2011. She was the devoted mother of Gary Hackbart (Faith) of Philadelphia, Glenn Hackbart (Kathy) and Donna Stokes (Tom) both of Bensalem. She was the loving grandmother of Lisa Miller, Kristen Sullo, Tommy Stokes, Matthew and Christopher Hackbart and great-grandmother of Peyton and Madelyn Sullo and Ben Miller.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Her memorial service will be held at 11 AM.
