Darlene A. Wallace, age 82, currently of Pataskala, was faithful to the end of her race and is now resting in the loving arms of her Saviour, Jesus Christ. She passed peacefully on August 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family at her home.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Gerald G. Wallace, whom she married on June 17, 1962. Also survived by her children and their spouses, William C. (Christine) Wallace, Douglassville, PA; Debra L. (Scott) Wolf, Washington Court House; Cheryl J. (Dwight) Shumway, Aurora, IL; and Susan J. (Thomas) Lawson, Pataskala; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Victoria (Graefe) Smith, and by her brother Ronald Smith.
She retired as a Bank Teller with First Federal Savings & Loan, Langhorne, PA. She loved attending worship services and held memberships in Langhorne Terrace Baptist Church, Langhorne, PA, and Community Chapel in Hesston, PA.
A viewing will be held at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Rd., Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 10:00AM until 11:30AM. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Huntingdon Valley, PA at 12:00PM.
