David was a proud member of the 212th class of Central High school in Philadelphia and a graduate of Muhlenberg College and Jefferson Medical School. David earned the rank of Major in the United States Army while stationed at Fort Eustis, Virginia. He was the founder of Tri County Eye Physicians and Surgeons in Southampton, Pennsylvania.
A true scholar and teacher, David was an enthusiastic world traveler, talented artist, and a fervid collector of art, antiques and wisdom. He was a lover of food, gardening, the arts, and music.
David was loved and will be missed by many friends and family. He is survived by his perfectly imperfect family, his wife of 55 years, Sue Ellen, his children Stefanie and Rebecca, his sons-in-law Sam and Keith (respectively), his brother Richard, and his most treasured and greatest joy, his grand-daughter Amelia.
David was grateful to be able to celebrate his life with family and friends prior to his passing. At his request no memorial service will be held.
