Denise L. Kokat was kindness in human form—gentle, patient, and God-given. She gave her heart freely to everyone she met, especially the children she nurtured as a teacher’s aide at Visitation BVM School. Within those halls and far beyond them, Denise taught not only lessons, but compassion, grace, and love. Every child, every family, every neighbor felt her warmth.
After a traumatic event, Denise was hospitalized on September 1, suffering severe injuries that led to multiple strokes. After months of unimaginable strength, she peacefully surrendered to her injuries on January 2, 2026.
Denise lives on through her daughter, Rebecca Kokat; her treasured granddaughter, Leyani Rodriguez; her sister, Karen (Michael); and her brother, Mark. She is reunited in eternal peace with her husband, Tony Kokat and her mother, Jean Abrams.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation which will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Lamb Funeral Home, located at 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, 19006. Followed by the funeral service at 12:00 pm.
May we remember Denise not for how she left this world, but for how she lived in it—with a pure soul, an open heart, and love that will never fade.
Rest softly, Denise. You are forever loved
