Son of Bernard and Jean Solomon, he is survived by his wife Sheila, son Bruce (wife Marqessa); daughter Laura (husband Jimmy); and granddaughters Sarah and Hannah. Donald was born and raised in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia and later moved to the Northeast to start a family. In his early years, he worked as an HVAC technician and later as an electrician. He eventually started a wire and steel manufacturing business with his father-in-law, where he worked for over 30 years. Donald was known for his gentle demeanor, generous spirit, and unwavering kindness. He had a quiet strength, a gentle smile, and a deep love for his family. As a devoted son, husband, father, and pop pop, he was always present with kindness and support. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
