

Dorothy was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Victor and Wanda Czarkowski. She attended Abraham Lincoln High School and established a career as a bookkeeper. She spent many years working at Frankford Leather Co.
Dorothy enjoyed traveling, shopping, and being active within the church. She spent many years teaching Sunday School, serving on the Ladies Aid and Altar Guild, and volunteering at the food bank. She loved being with family and friends, whether it was a simple Sunday dinner or a vacation across the country.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was defined by her deep love for her family and the warmth she extended to everyone she met. She always had a caring heart, a listening ear, and willingness to help.
Dorothy is now reunited in heaven with her dear husband Edward. She is the loving mother to: Michael (Sharon), Nancy (Chuck), Barbara (John). Proud Grandmother to: Michael (Amanda), Christopher (Katie), Patrick, Erika (Kevin), Kimberly (David), Matthew (Geena), Ryan, and Emily. Devoted great-grandmother to: Trace, Olivia, Grant, Mason, and Elisa. She is also survived by her brother Ed (Ginny), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dorothy’s life at a viewing on Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 9-11am at Lamb Funeral Home. A service will be held immediately following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dorothy’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
