Edward John Gallagher

Edward J. Gallagher died on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at his residence. He was 75 years of age. Born in Chester, PA he was the son of the late Francis and Alice Tracy Gallagher. Edward was a resident of Huntingdon Valley and had previously lived in Philadelphia.

Mr. Gallagher was a retired employee of Ellisico Can Company in Philadelphia.

Edward was an avid horse racing fan. He was Disney enthusiast. Ed was well-known for his sense of humor. Ed loved music and was an Elvis Presley fan.

Edward was the beloved husband of Carolyn E. (nee Malia) for 45 years before her death in 2006. He was the devoted father of Mary Kay (Michelle) Massey, Daniel Pulyk, Bernadette A. Pulyk, Elizabeth Dailey, Christopher Pulyk, and Kathleen Howard. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his service Saturday 11 A.M. at the Lamb Funeral Home (at Forest Hills), 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until the time of service. His interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
