Elaine Stein Elkins

Elaine Elkins died on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 84 years of age. Born in Philadelphia she was the beloved daughter of the late Katie Stein. Elaine was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Elkins was a retired employee of Dr. Maxwell Stepanuk Jr and the Lincoln Technical Institute office in Philadelphia. Elaine was very family oriented and love spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great grandchild. She was a fan of Frank Sinatra and enjoyed classic television shows. Elaine was good friend to everyone who knew her.

Elaine was the devoted mother of Linda Henderson (Wayne) of Warminster, Marc Elkins (Lynn) of Downingtown and Lee Elkins (Marie) of Doylestown. She was the loving grandmother of Ryan, Holly, Justin and Gavin Henderson, Robert, Katie, Alexandria, Timothy and Evan Elkins; great grandmother of Jordan Elkins. Elaine was the sister of Mimi Stein and the late Maurie Stein.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 PM on Saturday May 27, 2017 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Elaine’s Memorial Service will be at 2 PM.

Donations in Elaine’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
