Ed, as he was known to his friends and family, lived on Bustleton Pike in Feasterville for 50 years. Ed was born on November 15, 1935 in Montorio Al Vomano, Italy to parents, Luigi Forcellini and Annina Giuseppantonio. He was raised on a farm and studying in Italy until his sisters Clem and Mary brought Ed and his brother Jerry to Philadelphia.
Ed joined the Air Force in 1956 and was stationed in England. He served 5 years as a Air Policeman, where he met his lifelong partner and wife Daphne Ingram. After returning to Philadelphia, in 1961 Ed had many occupations like most Forcellini’s; Acme markets, beauty culture operator, “hair stylist”, school bus driver, travel agent, limo driver and land lord.
Ed loved his garden and grounds in Feasterville, and took care of the house, lawn, trees and Koi Pond with his beloved John Deere, his Red Ford Ranger and dog Benji, who was never more than ¼ step away.
Ercole Forcellini was preceded in death by his wife Daphne Forcellini, and youngest son James Forcellini.
Ercole Forcellini is survived by his eldest son, Lloyd and wife Iveta and daughter Elizabeth and husband Karl Thomassen. Grand children Max, Enzo, Hunter, Ayern, Morgan and Dylan will miss his always smiling face and welcoming hug.
