

He was a long time resident of Palmerton, PA, formerly of Boyertown, PA. Fred was born on April 7, 1955 in Philadelphia. He graduated from North East High School in 1973. Fred went on to establish a career as a Parts Manager and Purchaser, working for Danella Construction and Danella Rental Systems in Plymouth Meeting, PA for over 38 years.
Fred was a nature lover and an extremely skillful fisherman. He and his wife spent many days fishing the banks of their local creeks. Fred also enjoyed hunting and camping with great friends, cheering for the Eagles, watching a good car race and trying new and exotic foods. But most of all spending time with his beloved family. Fred was very proud of his career at Danella and all of the friendships he made along the way.
Fred was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Clohecy, his son, Christopher Clohecy, mother-in-law, Carolyn Bluett and brother-in-law, Tom Grace.
Fred is survived by his wife, Dawn Clohecy (Bluett), his parents, Frederick Clohecy and Verna Clohecy (Dickey) of Huntingdon Valley, his son, Steven Clohecy (Jennifer) of Bala Cynwyd, his stepdaughters, Stephanie Polowczuk of Ephrata, Sarah Polowczuk of Ephrata and Samantha Polowczuk of Baltimore MD, sisters, Carolyn Harrelson (Tom) of Doylestown, Nancy Grace of Roslyn, grandchildren: Tray Payne (Cayla), Jules Ponce, Madelyn Polowczuk, Perry Clohecy, Millie Clohecy, great grandson, Jaxton Payne and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
A viewing/visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at Lamb Funeral Home from 10:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a service at 12:00pm
