Garry Edward Cohen

Garry E. Cohen died on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Aria Hospital Torresdale Campus. He was 69 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Solomon and Eleanore Wapner Cohen. Garry was a longtime Southampton resident.

Mr. Cohen was social worker; he had been employed at CTT in Philadelphia and the Youth Development Center in Bensalem. Garry was a graduate Lambuth College and received his Master’s Degree from Antioch University.

Garry was very family oriented and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed antiquing, classic rock music, politics, films, television and movies. Garry was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Garry was the beloved husband of Joan A. Graham Cohen for 41 years. He was the devoted father of Geoffrey Cohen (Brooke) of Levittown, Rebecca Delaney (Chris) of Ambler and James Cohen (Elizabeth) of Philadelphia. He was the loving grandfather of Gunnar, Sebastian, and Nora.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 to 11 AM on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. His funeral service will be at 11 AM.
