Gertrude Cossrow, died on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Greenwood House in Ewing, NJ. She was 97 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Goldenberg Guber. Gertrude was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Cossrow was a retired employee of the School District of Philadelphia. She was a member of Hadassah and the Temple Adult Education Program.
Gertrude was the beloved wife of the Benjamin Cossrow for 53 years before his death in 1994. She was the devoted mother of Bryna Selmao Spivack (Mel Hun) of Yardley, PA and Joel Cossrow, MD (Bonnie) of Boca Raton,FL. She was the loving grandmother of Howard, Debbie and Jonathan Spivack and Brent, Keith and Lisa; great grandmother of Jordan, Madeline, Julia and Drew Spivack and Ben, Alex, Georgia, Josh and Max Cossrow.
Mrs. Cossrow had graveside service was held at Har Zion Cemetery in Collingdale PA 19023.
