Gregory T. Shaw

Gregory was born on March 23, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Edward J. and Patricia J. (McCartney) Shaw. He graduated from La Salle College High School in 1980. He continued his education, graduating from Temple University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Math and Penn State University with a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering. Gregory went on to establish a career as a Software Engineer and Project Manager before ultimately becoming a Vice President at Chubb.

Gregory was an avid sports fan; whenever he was watching the Eagles or Phillies or talking fantasy football with his friends and sons, he had a smile on his face. For many years, he was in a bowling league and enjoyed golfing with his friends. Gregory was happiest when he was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents. Gregory is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathleen M. Shaw; his children, Timothy E. Shaw (Mary Cait), Matthew B. Shaw (Emily), and Christopher T. Shaw; his granddaughters, Harper, Hailey and Avery; and his siblings, Patricia Shaw Lima (Robert) and Edward C. Shaw (Maria).

Family and friends are invited to attend a one hour Visitation on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at St. John Bosco Parish, 215 E County Line Road, Warminster, PA 18974, from 9:30am – 10:30am with a Memorial Service and Mass to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Fox Chase Cancer Center (333 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19111) or KeystoneCare Home Health and Hospice (8765 Stenton Ave, Wyndmoor, PA 19038).
