Gwilym Charles Daniels Sr.

GWILYM C. Sr. died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the Philadelphia Protestant Home. He was 95. Born in Wales, UK, and raised in England. He joined the British Royal Navy at eighteen (18) and served for seven (7) years. At the end of WW II, he returned to Philadelphia, where he had met Helen Rodgers five (5) years earlier and married in 1947. He was a partner at the L & S Tool & Die Corp. He resided in the Philadelphia area most of his life.

Gwilym was the beloved husband of Helen Rodgers Daniels for almost 67 years at the time of her death in 2013. He was the devoted father of Cheryl Munizza (Joe) of Trevose; Gwilym Jr. (Mary) of Wayne and Rhyse(Peggy Ann) of Bensalem. He is survived by seven (7) loving grandchildren and four (4) great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service Wednesday @ 10:30AM, May 25th, 2016 at the Lamb Funeral Home (at Forest Hills), 101 Byberry Road, and Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Friends may call on the family from 9:30 AM until the service.
