This is so sad. It's like the end of an era. Hanhee was such a major part of so many lives. It was a rare day if you were in National park and didn't hear a conversation regarding her. She was like a sister/mom to me. She was a strong woman and as her friend she made sure that you knew you were strong enough to handle anything. She will be greatly missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Han hee was an amazing individual...larger than life, blunt, charasmatic, and never dull. My time at Phila carriage working for Han Hee was especially significant for me because it marked the time for dramatic change and new growth in my life, and she specifically helped mold me into a much stronger individual. Those were full days, with special horses and even better people- gone too soon but never to be forgotten. I hope you are at peace now old friend!

I'm so sad to hear this news. Han Hee was a dear friend for many years. She was like a 2nd mom back in the 90s when I started driving carriages. She supported me as I bounced around the country finding my path and always gave me my job back when I was in Philadelphia. When Niel was at Penn Charter, we would gossip about my father, which was fun for me. We spoke several times even after I moved out here to Oregon. She stayed on the phone with me while I was waiting on a vet diagnosis on a filly I had. I will truly miss the friendship she gave me over the past 30 years. RIP my friend.

I'm always going to remember the first time that you went with me, Karl, Kelly, JR,, and tami barnett to have a drink with us at the bar across the street from the barn. Hanahee you kept me employed when everyone else in our industry wouldn't take a chance on me I'll always love and miss you.

Live Guy Anthony Lacy.....

Hi. My boyfriend ( George Mann) and I meant Han -Hee several years ago. We purchased several of her carriages. She came to Chesapeake and visited with us last year. We called her yesterday to tell her we were coming in town and wanted to see her. When no answer I thought the worse and found the obituary. I am so sorry that we did not know and did not pay our respects to her and her family. I am hoping the son can call me. My heart is so sad to find out our dear friend passed. Tina 757-434-6830
