Harold (Hack) T. Hackbart, age 80 passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday December 21, 2010 at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Lehighton, PA. Born in Philadelphia, he had lived in Lehighton for the past 30 years. He was previously a resident of Philadelphia.
Mr. Hackbart was employee of Rohm & Haas for 38 years before his retirement in 1990. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Harold was the beloved husband of Clare Hagenlocher Hackbart for 58 years. He was the devoted father of Gary Hackbart of Philadelphia, Glenn (Kathy) Hackbart and Donna (Tom) Stokes both of Bensalem. He was the loving grandfather of Lisa, Kristen, and Tommy Stokes, Matthew and Christopher Hackbart.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
