Jean T. Benetz

Jean T. Benetz (née McClintock), age 85, of Huntingdon Valley, PA (formerly Cape Coral, FL and Philadelphia, PA), passed away peacefully on Monday, July 13, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. Jean was born in Philadelphia to Charles and Margaret McClintock. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her children Stephen (Caroline), Robert (Elizabeth), Teresa, Patricia Reilly (Mark), and brothers John and Joe. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Conrad, her son Thomas, her sister Peggy, and her brother Charlie.

Her family and friends were her world. She made fast friends wherever she went and found her greatest joy in spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jean was known for her love of sweets, in particular dark chocolate and ice cream. She enjoyed warm weather, getting lost in a good book, and dad jokes. She was an incredibly thoughtful, generous, and funny woman who brought so much joy to the world. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life for Jean on Saturday August 1, 2026 at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Please be sure to use the funeral home entrance at the top of the hill on Byberry Road - not the cemetery entrance at the bottom of the hill. Visitation begins at 11am, followed by the service at 12pm.
