

After graduating high school, Chackochayan worked at the Rewa District Collectorate Office in Northern India. In 1975, he immigrated to the U.S. with his wife, Sosamma Chacko and had a career in the aviation industry as Safeguard Security for LAN Chile Airlines. After retiring, he moved to Philadelphia in 2003 with his wife, close to her sister Susamma John. In 2013, after his wife’s passing, he moved to Indiana to be with his son, Lenny, Ann, and family who cared for him until his passing.
Chackochayan was married to Sosamma Chacko and they were blessed with two sons, Lenny and Mony. He is survived by five grandchildren: Benjamin, Jasmyn, Christian, Elizabeth, and James.
Chackochayan was a loving, devoted husband and father, and was dedicated to the word of God with his wife. He was a humble, God-fearing man with a heart of unconditional love. He always made sure to give a lending ear to those in need, and he will be dearly missed by all.
